Shipping & Delivery
How long will my order take to arrive?
We service 2-day shipping!
I never received my package! HELP !!
Oftentimes, when you receive notification that your package has been delivered, but you don’t have it, your package was mistakenly marked as “delivered” by USPS. In this instance your package may arrive three to five business days after the package was marked delivered. If you do not receive your package five business days after being marked delivered, please email us at email@example.com and I’ll get the issue resolved!
It is also possible that your address was entered incorrectly on your order, or it was sent to an old address if you did not update your shipping information properly. If for any reason your package is returned to us due to an address error, you will be responsible for the cost to reship the package. The cost to reship a package is $7.99 and you will be sent an invoice via email. If you choose to receive a refund rather than have your order resent, you will be refunded for the cost of the candles only. We cannot refund the shipping costs on returned packages.
First Woodwick candle!
Wooden wick candles are awesome! Each wooden wick will crackle like a tiny fireplace when burning, which is a unique and relaxing experience. Proper candle burning and safety is important to make sure you and your home are safe!
We are not responsible for incorrectly burned candles and lack of safety precautions taken when burning.
Wooden wicks light slower than cotton wicks. It is comparable to lighting a fireplace. Hold your lighter (we use a barbecue lighter) close to the wick for 20 or more seconds to fully light the wick.
Burn candles in a well-ventilated non-drafty room. A draft might blow out the candle prematurely or keep it from staying lit.
Burn for 4 hours maximum. Continuing to burn the candle beyond 4 hours is a safety hazard and will reduce your candle life
Give your candle enough burning time to develop a melted wax pool that goes all the way to the edge of the container on the first use – this can take up to a few hours, depending on candle size.
For optimal burn, keep your wood wick trimmed to about ⅛” – this is shorter than you might think the wick should be – around the width of the metal part of a USB drive. You’ll also want to clean off any charred bits.
Believe it or not, your jar candles have a kind of “wax-memory,” and once a burning pattern has been established, it can be hard to change.
For trimming, we’ve always found an old set of nail clippers or wire cutters to work great. In a pinch, you can always use a napkin and your fingers to gently break off the burnt parts of the wick
I finished my candle! Now What ?!
Well after crying ( and placing a new order) you can recycle your jars !! Just be sure to clear out the wax, and removed the remaining of the Woodwicks! Jars can be used as planting pots, cotton ball holder, possibly anything! labels are easy to remove just gently peel a corner and remove! Use a wet wipe to remove any stickiness! Send us pictures on how you recycle to be featured on the website! #DKCANDLES
MY CANDLE WON’T LIGHT !!
WoodWick wouldn’t light huh? It happens all the time! Some woods light on the first try other a little effort is needed! Just be careful and not burn your fingers (We can attest). We suggest getting a BBQ lighter to make the process easier.
